Highly Unstable Press is a Brooklyn-based micropress publishing free zines, artist books, and other unstable printed matter. We champion works that live in the margins: surreal prose, visual chaos, unhinged poetry, and anything that doesn't fit neatly on a shelf.

We are artists, punks, mystics, printers, and archivists. We operate like a collective, but less organized. Our publications are tactile, ephemeral, often risograph printed and rarely reprinted. We believe in the beauty of the small run, the photocopied, the hand-stapled, the highly legible.

We distribute freely, irregularly, and sometimes illegally.
